Fascinating work in eight volumes (nine tomes) about: General Framework of Italy, States of Sardinia, Government of Milan, Government of Venice, Duchies of Parma Piacenza Massa etc., Grand Duchy of Tuscany, State of the Church, Kingdom of Naples and Islands of Italy.
There are numerous plates outside the text, etched in aquatint by Landini, depicting views of Italian cities.
