Description
Scene of popular costume taken from the rare Raccolta di Varie vestiture che costumano nell Città, Terre e Paesi in Provincie diversi del Regno di Napoli, published in Naples by Nicola Gervasi and Vincenzo Talani in 1793.
The work consists of 60 plates, engraved in copper and finely colored by hand, taken from drawings by Alessandro and Olivo d'Anna, engraved by Secondo Bianchi, Antonio Zaballi and Giuseppe Morghen.
Magnificent coeval coloring, light browning in the margins, otherwise in good condition.
