A French bookseller and printer, Gravier had bookshops in Naples and Genoa. He published, among others, also the views and the plant of Naples engraved by Giuseppe Aloia. Between 1769 and 1770 he published the monumental work Scrittori dell'Istoria generale del Regno di Napoli.
