The Tourist in Switzerland and Italy is the first of nine volumes known under the name of The Landscape Annual. The next volumes concern Italy and then France and Spain.
The work is illustrated with engravings from drawings by the English painter Samuel Prout, J. D. Harding and others; it was printed in London between 1830 and 1838.
Copperplate, beautiful hand-colouring, in excellent condition.
