A beautiful guide to Italy, first published in 1834, consisting of the accounts of such people as Norvins, Nodier, Dumas, Berlioz (author of the chapter entitled Voyage musicale) and others with beautiful steel engravings from drawings by Madame D'Haubecourt-Lescot, the Comte de Forbin, Granet, Deveria, etc.

Descriptif Tableau Historique et de l'Italie, du Piemont et de la Sardaigne, de la Sicile, de Malte et de la Corse .." published in Paris between 1834 and 1836. The book contains writings by various authors on the peninsula, including De Norvins, Nodier and Dumas, and is richly illustrated with numerous views recorded by Sauvage, Dormier and other designs by Coignet, Chapuy and other French painters in the first half of 800 visiting the peninsula.
