Marco Moro (1817-1855) was an illustrator, engraver, lithographer and publisher much appreciated. Born in Zenson di Piave (Treviso), he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. His first printed work was the famous Album Pittorico del Friuli, with which he contributed to the diffusion of the new technique of lithography in Italy, of which he was a true master. In addition to many works of views of the Veneto and other regions, he also published works dedicated to current events, such as the Siege of Venice and the Defeat of the Austrians in Mestre.
