Description
View of the piazza after the restoration works done under Pope Innocentius X, to whose memory this print is dedicated. Drawn and engraved by Wouters, edited by Giacomo De Rossi, this work is enriched by various popular scenes.
The most important of these can be seen at the centre and depicts a comedy theatre.
Copperplate, small perfectly repaired areas at margins and central fold, otherwise in very good conditions. Rare.
