Portrait of Wolfgang Diedrich Weicher three-quarter length sitting, looking to front, wearing wig and lace, letters on table at left.
Mixed method mezzotint, 1753, lettered with title, sitter's detail, and: 'Joh. Jon. Michael pinx. / Gottfried Eichler jun. Sculps Aug. Vind'.
A fine impression, printed on contemporary laid paper, trimmed to the platemark and laid down on antique cardboard of collection, very good condition.
Gottfried Eichler the Younger (1715-1770) was an engraver, active in Augsburg; son of Gottfried the Elder.
