Nell’arco di svariati anni; traccia un’analisi storica delle nazioni del mondo, arricchita dalla descrizione geografica e artistica delle città. All’interno sono presenti preziose incisioni su rame che raffigurano il territorio, le vedute e i monumenti.

The work derives from the Italian translation of Thomas Salmon works, printed in Venice by Giambattista Albrizzi with this title: "Lo Stato presente di tutti i paesi e Popoli del Mondo Naturale, Politico e Morale con nuove osservazioni..". The monumental work is made of twenty-six volumes, printed between 1737 and 1766, plentifully enriched by geographic maps and city plans, with a particular attention to Italy. The maps derive from Guillaume de L'Isle's and Isaak Tirion's, already included by Albrizzi in his Atlante Nuovissimo.
